We appreciate the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact on the ability of attendees to travel for Meetings. While we continue to monitor the situation over the coming months, the safety of attendees is a top priority and we will be working with the venue and suppliers to ensure all the latest guidelines and safety procedures are followed for those attending the Adelaide Hub.

The Adelaide Convention Centre has re-opened with a comprehensive COVIDSafe plan in place, please review their policy for the current plans. In addition, we are working with all our accommodation providers to ensure they all have satisfactory safety plans in place to follow the latest guidelines issued by SA Health and the Australian Department of Health.

Spring sees Adelaide’s weather warm up with average temperatures between 11.8 - 22°C (53.2 - 71.6°F). Rainfall is low but evenings can be quite brisk as temperatures drop quickly.


Dress for all scientific sessions is smart casual. Dress for the Gala Dinner will be advised once the theme is finalised.

Name badges will be given to all delegates on registration. We ask that you wear your badge at all times, including social functions. Entry tickets will be given for all social and optional events.

Should you require any specific assistance or have specific catering requirements, please provide this information where indicated on the registration form or contact us to discuss what we can provide to support your attendance.


  • From Adelaide Airport:
    The airport is approx seven kilometres from the Centre, the average return taxi fare is $15 and and estimated travel time is 16 minutes. The taxi rank is located to the left of the pedestrian plaza as you exit the terminal. There is a $3 levy added to fares for taxis leaving the airport.
    If you wish to use public transport to/from Adelaide Airport, Adelaide Metro offers an express double decker bus service called JetExpress between the airport and the city. 
  • Car Rental
    Avis Rent a Car is offering its corporate rates to conference delegates. Just call the local Avis office and quote the booking reference number: AWD Z994400.
  • Public Transport in Adelaide  
    Adelaide is home to an efficent transport system, including free tram travel within the city centre. The closest tram stop is in front of the Adelaide Railway Station, located two minutes walk from the Centre. 
    Three main taxi companies operate in Adelaide and a taxi rank is located on North Terrace at the Centre's doorstop. Uber also operates in Adelaide. For information about public transport including timetables and maps, visit Adelaide Metro
  • Parking at Adelaide Convention Centre
    The Convention Centre has two undercover car parks accessible with the North Terrace and the Riverbank car parks. Both are located directly under the Centre and are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Automated payment stations accept credit/debit card payments only. Please view the current parking rates.
